Complaint Handling System (CHS)

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) is empowered under the EPSR Act 2005 to develop instruments, procedures and systems that will enable the commission effectively monitor and regulate the Nigeria Electricity Supply Industry (NESI). In view of the above, the commission contracted Office Machines Nigeria Ltd (OMNL) as its consultant to develop a data gathering and reviewing system which will enable the commission use the data collected from the Generation, Transmission and Distribution companies for planning, co-ordination and better decision making. The CHS application was successfully developed and presented to the NERC stakeholders which includes the regulatory agency ‘’NERC’’ and the licensed distribution companies ‘’DISCO’s’’.
