National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA): Deployment of IT Equipment

The National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) has successfully completed the delivery of essential IT equipment to the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). Delivered through Office Machines Nigeria Limited (OMNL), these items will enhance the NCDC’s ability to manage data related to disease control and infection prevention.
Among the delivered items were the HPE Smart Array P408i-a/2GB and HPE Smart Array 5100i storage solutions. These advanced components are designed to support large-scale data storage, crucial for the NCDC’s ongoing efforts to monitor and respond to health threats across Nigeria.
The equipment also included Intel® Xeon® Scalable 4208 processors with 8 cores, offering 2.1 GHz performance. Combined with 32GB of memory, these systems will enable the NCDC to handle complex data analysis and improve overall operational efficiency in disease monitoring and prevention.
Additionally, the delivery featured 8 SFF drive slots, 4TB of included storage, and security options such as a locking bezel kit and HPE TPM 2.0. These features ensure the safety and integrity of the NCDC’s critical data, supporting Nigeria’s efforts to combat infectious diseases.
