NACA POWERS UP IPC NCDC WITH CUTTING-EDGE 45KVA SOUNDPROOF GENERATOR

In Nigeria, the National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) leads the coordination of comprehensive HIV/AIDS strategies and initiatives, emphasizing prevention, treatment, and advocacy efforts. Concurrently, the Infection Prevention and Control National Centre for Disease Control (IPC NCDC) oversees disease outbreak surveillance, emergency response coordination, and public health promotion.
In alignment with its critical mandate, NACA has issued a call for eligible suppliers to bid on the procurement of a state-of-the-art 45kVA soundproof generator, with delivery required within an eight-week timeframe.
Office Machines Nigeria Limited has successfully secured the bid, delivering a 45kVA generator with a prime power output of 26kW and a standby output of 50.40kW at a 0.8 power factor. The generator is designed as a 3-phase, 4-wire system, housed in a weatherproof and acoustic enclosure, and features an electric starting method with a fuel capacity of 180 litres.
This acquisition will significantly bolster the IPC NCDC's capabilities in swift emergency response and enhanced disease outbreak surveillance.
