Okey Ikpe is the founder and managing director of Office Machines Nigeria Limited. His amazing career in information technologies (marketing, business development, general management, and executive management) started from a humble career as a sales executive at the premier IBM company (Data Processing and Management Company). Thereafter, he took a regional role in Compaq, IBM, and Microsoft respectively, covering Nigeria, Ghana, Gambia, Sierra Leone, and Liberia. During the period he worked with very smart, amazing, and brightest people in the world amongst many outstanding awards and accomplishments, he was responsible for signing the strategic partnership agreement between Microsoft and Nigeria in 2008. The decision to join OMNL group was easy because it was a smooth transition and a unique opportunity to engage in building, development, and management of startup businesses.
Okey holds a master's degree in business administration, a master's degree in economic history, a bachelor's degree in Law (first class), and a postgraduate degree in marketing. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Harvard Business School General Management Program. He loves soccer, swimming, and is a beginner in golf.
